Lucky Foods For The New Year

I don’t know if this belief goes to other countries but here in the Philippines there are lucky foods that are very commonly served during the Media Noche or the New Years Eve Dinner.

Among them include 12 rounded fruits on the dining table to invite all the luck in the world in terms of health and prosperity. You can get watermelon, melon, apples, grapes, oranges, and any rounded fruits you can think off.

Some like big scaled fish and prawns. While chicken fried or cooked in any other way is not recommended.

I’m not sure where this tradition came from and what basis all this kind of tradition have but then again finding the truth about it will be difficult than doing desktop computer reviews.

This is my personal food blog. Any review about a certain restaurant or food is based on my genuine personal opinion and preference and not influenced by anyone in anyway in cash or in kind. You don't have to take my word for it it's just a heads-up on what to expect. Try the restaurant or the food if you like. I don't impose. Bon appetite!
